Family counselling
In family therapy, our main objective is to help to modify patterns of negative interactions among family members.
The core family is the space where the first learning in a person is established, as language, communication, culture as well, social relationships, and so on. Conflicts in the family have an impact on the personal, emotional, and social development of the individual.
Together we will work to identify the roles, strengthen the bonds of communication, support, affection, and collaboration within the family unit.
What is expected of family members?
- Respect among members
- Open and honest communication
- Understanding and tolerance of different opinions
- Respect for individuality
- Commitment to the family nucleus
- Understand the concept of family
The first phase is to identify:
- The problem(s) they is/are facing
- Identify how often these occur
- Circumstances in which they arise
- Type of solutions they are applying.
- Perspectives of family members
